The Effects of Fan Convention Cultures on the Mental Wellness of Introverts

The Effects of Fan Convention Cultures on the Mental Wellness of Introverts is a literature review written about how cultures commonly found at conventions such as Anime North, Fan Expo, and Comic-Con affect introverts. The cultures discussed in the literature review include cosplay (costume play), drawing, videography, and composing. Through examining the other literature I found that convention culture increases self-positivity and identity, especially gender identity; creativity, community and passion; and escapism by providing introverts with a common ground upon which a relationship can be built that can provide support for mental wellness.
